Interviews Wanted!

I am looking for people to participate in interviews for the blog!  If interested I explain everything in more detail below.

A while ago others suggested I do interviews with various people form the funeral industry, as a way of generating more content and more diversity on the blog while still staying on topic.  Interviews will also be a big part of my thesis, once I get ethics approval, and so I have decided to do several interviews to practice my interview styles and get some interesting blog content.

Participation is completely optional and this will be an ongoing thing, so feel free to contact me at any time if you or someone you know might be interested!

Aims & Objectives:
- To practice interview styles and note taking.
- Gather information on personal and individual experiences within the funeral industry and enrich understandings of the funeral industry through more diverse information.

Participant Criteria:
- Preference for those directly involved or employed in the funeral industry.  However, others with no direct connection to or experience with the funeral industry will be considered.
- Age: 18 or over.

Interview Methods:
- Combination of structured and semi-structured interviews; there will be set questions but all questions will be open to encourage the opinion and direction of each individual participant.
- Written notes will be taken, audio recordings might be used, no photos or videos will be taken.
- Names and personal details will NOT be recorded at any stage, this goes for company details as well as individual details.
- Interview should take no more than 30 minutes.
- Active participation can be used for those who are interested; this involves the participant reading over the final article before it is published and commenting on it.

Sample Questions:
(Actual questions may differ from the questions shown here, however this difference should be minor)
- How long have you worked in the funeral industry?
- What do you think of the funeral industry?
- How did you get into the industry?
- Do you like your job?
- What is the best and worst part of your job?

Other:
These interviews will look at participants individual and personal experiences of the funeral industry, as well as their role within the industry.  Interviews are not concerned with various companies, no questions will look at specific companies.  However, if you wish to talk about a company you can, as long as the involved company gives consent.

If so desired the article can be sent to the participant seven days before publication for final input and say (within reason).  If the participant is uncomfortable with the article it will not be published.

You can view and complete some other surveys I put together a while ago, this will give you an idea of how the types of questions I might ask.
